Valentine's Day Treat
A romantic posting provided by our designer Kay Ellen.
While I was out grocery shopping recently, the Valentine section caught my eye. Cute cards, pink and red hearts along with all kinds of fun decorations. I started reminiscing about all of the classroom parties that I helped celebrate when my kids were in school. I loved creating crafts and making special treats for them and their classmates … wonderful memories.
Well, this nostalgic moment left me with a feeling … one of those “I need to create a craft” feeling. So, I bought a heart shaped box of chocolates and I decided to embellished the cover with some whimsical elements. I chose vintage paper, ribbons, rick-rack, scrabble letters and tinsel. I attached all these fun items to the pretty little box using SEALAH adhesive tape. It is very easy to use; just place, peal and press. This project only took me about 15 minutes to create. I even reserved a few of the mystery chocolates for my husband and my children to enjoy.
Like the famous philosopher, Forrest Gump, once said, "Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get."
Have a wonderfully blessed Valentine's Day!
