As a designer Kay Ellen has had the privilege of visiting many of her client's homes and assisting them as they select paint, flooring, window coverings and furniture. One of our favorite times during projects like these is when they come down to the finishing touches. Discovering that little something that can enhance the detail of the room and give it that finished appeal. It could be an area rug, artwork, a chandelier or something more subtle.
Recently, she was visiting a client's charming bungalow, in the historical "Wood" streets of Riverside, California. This beautiful home is almost 100 years old, with each room displaying an eclectic mixture of beautiful antiques and rich textures. In the front room, Kay noticed a pretty settee that needed a finishing touch. She discussed what her client and she loved about the piece and how it needed some embellishment. Fortunately, her client had recently purchased a roll of beautiful bullion fringe, and its cream color matched perfectly with the cushion on the settee.
They set off to apply the fringe using Sealah "no sew" adhesive tape and in no time this fun project was complete, it was the perfect finishing touch.
We hope that Kay's story and photos inspire you to Create, Embellish and Repair using Sealah No-Sew adhesive on your projects.
